I'm now a full-time work-outside-the-home mom and while we're still going on TONS of family adventures, making time for the adventures (verses making time for writing about them!) has taken priority in my life right now.

Darnall's Chance House Museum Gingerbread House Contest and Show

2008 Child and Adult winners--they're edible and gorgeous!

I can't wait to oooh, aaah and drool over the amazing gingerbread house creations at the 11th Annual Gingerbread House Contest and Show at Darnall's Chance House Museum. It's the first "outing" on our Advent Activity Calendar.

You, too, can check out the houses and cast your vote for the Viewer's Choice Award Thursday, December 2nd through Sunday, December 5th and again December 9th through 12th from 12-5pm each day. Admission is $1 per person.
