I'm now a full-time work-outside-the-home mom and while we're still going on TONS of family adventures, making time for the adventures (verses making time for writing about them!) has taken priority in my life right now.

Free Thursday Concerts at Watkins Regional Park

There are so many reasons to visit Watkins Park this summer! On Thursday evenings, go for the free summer concerts! All performances take place on the "Green" -- bring your own blanket! -- from 7pm-8:30pm.

Free Sunday Concerts at Bladensburg Waterfront Park

Again this summer there are FREE concerts and performances every Sunday at Bladensburg Waterfront Park. Shows are from 6pm-7:30pm. Here's the schedule:

Come Out and Play by M-NCPPC

Have you heard? M-NCPPS has been sponsoring a new "mobile recreation" initiative this summer called "Come Out and Play." They've been bringing a DJ, skating, games and more to parks across the County throughout June.

Love it!
